In 2009 I (Malou Paul) graduated from Art School to obtain my teacher's degree, with a jewellery collection. This was the starting point for making lots of jewellery. At first I was busy making art jewellery and I even studied at the jewellery department of the Gerrit Rietveld Academy for a while. Because it didn't really fit me I quit and followed a traditional goldsmithing course for 2 years in The Hague.

I moved back to Alphen aan den Rijn in 2013 and started a part-time study to obtain my English teaching degree. The following 4,5 year were all about my study, which resulted in a lot less jewellery making than before. Luckily it hasn't stopped, also because I met Bas Verheij. We have been a couple since february 2015 and together we've got a beautiful workshop for jewellery making! He has graduated from the goldsmithing course in Schoonhoven in 2012 and loves to make jewellery as much as I do! It seemed like destiny when we unpacked all our tools for our workshop, everything he had, I didn't, and vice versa. We compliment each other really well, challenge each other and are able to help each other! A match made in heaven!

In the mean time I have graduated again and obtained my English teaching degree in March 2018. I teach at a secondary school, 3 days a week. The rest of the week I dedicate my time to making jewellery. Besides that, Bas en I are both the proud owners of a old timer Honda moped and we love to go out for a nice ride. I go on my green Honda C50 and Bas on his black/orange SS50.

Making jewellery is back on my schedule again, as is deserves. I would love to make an appointment to discuss the possibilities and see what I can do for you. Wheter or not with help from Bas :-)

In the web shop you will find jewellery not just made by me, but also made by Bas. Our styles really compliment each other, so there must be some piece of jewellery there to suit you!
